TERMS AND CONDITIONS June 2018
These Terms and Conditions apply to any goods purchased by you from The Fairtrade Foundation Online Shop.
We will regularly review and update these Terms and Conditions at our discretion. Please ensure you keep up to date with our Terms and Conditions intermittently, or any time you purchase goods from our Online Shop. It may be possible to place an order from the Online Shop over the telephone. If you do place an order over the telephone, these Terms and Conditions will apply to your order.

If you place an order online to purchase goods from The Fairtrade Foundation we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order containing the details of your contract with us. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product, which is accepted by us when we deliver the product to you. Any products that are part of the same order which we have not delivered to you, do not form part of that contract and will be delivered separately. You warrant that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts and that you are at least 18 years old.
2. AVAILIBILITY AND PRICES
All goods listed for sale are subject to availability and it is not always possible for us to inform you at the time you place your order whether the goods you want are still available for purchase. In the case of this happening, you will be contacted via email and offered an alternative or a refund. Please see Section 6 Refunds for further information.
The total price for goods, including delivery charges, will be displayed at checkout when you place your order. Postage and packing will be applied to each item in accordance with the standard delivery rates published by Royal Mail but please note, you may be required to pay extra for express delivery, which is arranged through a courier, and it may not be possible for us to deliver to some locations. Please see our Delivery and Returns Information.
All prices listed on the Online Shop are correct at the time of publication however, we reserve the right to alter these in the future. We also reserve the right to alter the goods available for sale on the Online Shop and to discontinue or withdraw any product line.
Details of acceptable credit cards that you may use for payment are available on the Online Shop and at checkout. You must be 18 or over to place an order with us.
The Fairtrade Foundation use reasonable endeavours to ensure that your personal information and online shopping is secure. For further information on privacy and security please see Fairtrade’s Privacy Notice. If you use your credit or debit card to buy something from our Online Shop, we will ensure that this is done securely and in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). To find out more about PCI DSS standards, visit their website at www.pcisecuritystandards.org. Your credit card company may also use security checks to confirm that it is you making the payment.
You agree to take particular care when providing us with your details, and warrant that these details are accurate and complete at the time of ordering. You also warrant that the credit or debit card details that you provide is your own credit or debit card and that you have sufficient funds to make the payment including payment in respect of any donations.
We will deliver the goods ordered by you to the delivery address you provide us with. Goods will be despatched after your order is accepted (subject to these Terms and Conditions).
If the goods we deliver:
We require that you notify us within 14 days of the delivery of the goods in question at email@example.com or on +44 (0)20 7440 7676.
If you do not receive goods ordered by you within 30 days of the date you ordered them (“Order Date”), we shall have no liability to you. If you notify us that you have not received goods ordered from us within 44 days of the Order Date, our only obligation will be, at your option:
You must advise us promptly of your chosen option. Notwithstanding the above, nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to limit any rights you may have as a consumer under English law or other statutory rights that may not be excluded. We will not be responsible for any direct, indirect or consequential loss even if the loss was reasonably foreseeable to both you and us when you commenced using the Online Shop or when the contract for the sale of goods was formed. However, we do not in any way exclude or limit our liability to you for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence, breach of duty or wilful misconduct.
To cancel your order you must notify us at firstname.lastname@example.org or on +44 (0)20 7440 7676. You may cancel your contract with us for the goods you order at any time up to the end of the 7th working day from the date you receive the ordered goods. Please also confirm whether you wish to return any donations made as part of the order. You do not need to give us any reason for cancelling your contract.
Where your right to cancel applies, should the goods be processed for delivery before you cancel your order then you must send the goods back, for more details see our Delivery and Returns Information.
We reserve the right to cancel your order if:
If we do cancel your order, you will be contacted via email or phone and offered an alternative or refund. We shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund to you the amount you paid for the goods in question. 6. REFUNDS AND RETURNS

We aim to issue a refund within 30 days of an order cancellation or return. We shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund you the amount paid for the goods in question.
7. SECURITY AND LOSSES
We will take all reasonable care to keep the details of your order and payment secure in accordance with our Privacy Notice.
You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered to you. Once goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk (even though you may still be entitled to cancel the order under these terms) and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction.
8. EVENTS BEYOND OUR CONTROL
We shall have no liability to you for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these Terms and Conditions if the delay or failure arises from any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

All orders and any contractual or non-contractual disputes relating to such orders shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English Law and the English Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us.
